Marriott International Provides an Update on Development Progress in 2021 and Overview of Key Trends Currently Shaping Hospitality Development

840 630 wttc2

On the eve of the Americas Lodging Investment Summit (ALIS) in Los Angeles, Marriott International, Inc. (NASDAQ: MAR) announces a strong year of rooms growth and signings in 2021. The company also provides insight into major trends it sees currently impacting global hospitality development. These trends helped drive Marriott’s growth in 2021 and are expected to propel the company’s growth over the next several years.

At the end of 2021, Marriott’s worldwide system consisted of nearly 8,000 properties and roughly 1.48 million rooms in 139 countries and territories. At year-end, the company had the largest global development pipeline, with roughly 485,000 rooms. The company signed 599 agreements during 2021 representing approximately 92,000 rooms of which slightly more than half are located outside of U.S. and Canada. Rooms falling out of the pipeline remain at historically low levels, despite challenges brought on by the pandemic. During 2021, Marriott added more than 86,000 rooms on a gross basis, growing the system 3.9 percent, including deletions of 2.1 percent. The deletion rate was 1.2 percent excluding the exit of 88 Service Properties Trust select service hotels.

“Marriott has the benefit of sitting at the intersection of information and insights from a global community of developers, properties, owners and franchisees, as well as the more than 160 million members of our Marriott Bonvoy travel program,” said Stephanie Linnartz, President, Marriott International. “Our analysis of the prevalent trends in global development is particularly instructive as we continue to recover from this global pandemic. We have been focused on working closely with our valued community of owners and franchisees throughout these unprecedented times. We are pleased with our strong 2021 development results and look forward to continuing to drive value for our owners and franchisees throughout the recovery and beyond with our quality brands, our comprehensive business support systems and industry leading loyalty platform.”

Luxury Maintains its Momentum

Travelers crave leisure luxury travel experiences seeking iconic destinations and undiscovered locations. Marriott is poised to meet this demand with its unmatched portfolio of seven dynamic luxury brands across 476 hotels spanning 69 countries and territories. In 2021, Marriott International signed 40 luxury hotel deals, representing over 6,000 rooms, and grew its portfolio of luxury hotel rooms by 4.8 percent net, with notable additions in prime locations around the globe including Philadelphia (W Hotels), Nashville (W Hotels), Charlotte (JW Marriott), Bermuda (St. Regis), Paris (Bulgari), Rome (W Hotels), Maldives (The Ritz-Carlton), Budapest (The Luxury Collection) and Reykjavik (EDITION). The company continues to expand its luxury footprint and has by far the largest global pipeline of hotels in this important, high fee earning segment, with nearly 50,000 rooms. Marriott anticipates debuting more than 30 luxury hotels in 2022 in destinations from Mexico (The St. Regis Kanai Resort) and Portugal (W Algarve) to Australia (The Ritz-Carlton, Melbourne) and South Korea (JW Marriott Jeju Resort & Spa). Marriott’s industry leading luxury portfolio adds to the power of Marriott Bonvoy, giving members a tremendous choice of experiences around the globe.

The Leisure Boom Continues Booming

Leisure demand has led the travel recovery, a trend that is expected to continue into 2022, as travelers continue to embrace multi-purpose trips, mixing remote work and vacation time. Leisure transient global room nights were the first to recover to 2019 pre-pandemic levels in the second quarter of 2021. For some time prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, leisure travel had been growing at a faster pace than business travel, and according to the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC), all signs point to a continuation of the trend. Marriott’s industry leading resort network includes over 600 properties in beach, mountain and desert locations around the world that have seen incredibly high demand and have demonstrated impressive average daily rates.

All-Inclusive is All-Growth

Consumer interest in the very high growth all-inclusive resort segment continues to increase. Marriott intends to capitalize on its strong recent momentum in this area, leveraging its proven brands to drive additional growth in this important segment. Currently, Marriott International’s all-inclusive portfolio spans 28 properties, representing over 8,000 rooms in locations across the Caribbean, Mexico and Central America. In 2021, Marriott International signed 22 agreements for all-inclusive resorts, marking a company record, including 20 all-inclusive resorts under its Autograph Collection Hotels brand and the first Marriott branded all-inclusive resort agreement in North Africa.

“Marriott’s all-inclusive platform is energizing the segment and providing Marriott Bonvoy members, owners and franchisees access to our strong brands,” said Carlton Ervin, Global Development Officer, International, Marriott International. “While our initial all-inclusive growth has been focused in the Caribbean and Latin America, we see tremendous opportunity to expand our all-inclusive platform into additional markets, including the Mediterranean and the Middle East.”

Extended Stay’s Popularity Extends Further

The extended stay segment has always been attractive to leisure travelers and has become even more popular with the increase in remote work and the blending of business and leisure travel. Marriott International is the leader in the extended stay segment, setting the bar with the introduction of its Residence Inn brand almost 40 years ago. In 2021, extended stay accounted for 37 percent of the company’s rooms signings in U.S. and Canada. Marriott Bonvoy’s extended stay brands – Element Hotels, Residence Inn by Marriott and TownePlace Suites by Marriott – include more than 1,400 hotels, offering stays from a few nights to a few weeks. Notable expected openings in 2022 include Element City Center Doha, Residence Inn by Marriott The Hague City Center and TownePlace Suites Cape Canaveral Cocoa Beach.

With growing consumer demand, Marriott’s extended stay portfolio offers modern design, signature programming, new food and beverage offerings, a flexible room mix for leisure and business travel and a proven operating model. At ALIS, Marriott will be showcasing Element Hotels, Residence Inn by Marriott and TownePlace Suites by Marriott through its “Longer Stay Lounge,” a space where investors, owners and operators can experience the latest in brand programming and designs while networking. The Longer Stay Lounge will present immersive brand vignettes that will allow visitors to learn about and experience each of the company’s longer stay brands.

“The extended stay segment has been extremely resilient over the past few years and guest and owner demand continues to grow, driven in some measure by the rise in multi-purpose travel,” said Noah Silverman, Global Development Officer, U.S. & Canada, Marriott International. “We are excited for continued momentum around extended stay and to use our presence at ALIS to communicate the strength and possibilities of Marriott’s longer stay category and the impressive value it brings to owners.”

Conversions Transform Across the Portfolio

Conversions are an important driver of rooms growth in any year, but they have been particularly meaningful during more disruptive times. Marriott provides a rich and flexible conversion platform with significant revenue synergies, cost saving opportunities and turnkey access to many of the programs and services that the company provides, including the company’s powerful Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program. Marriott added more than 18,000 conversion rooms in 2021, accounting for 21 percent of overall openings. In addition, conversions accounted for 27 percent of rooms signings in 2021. Interest in conversions into Marriott brands remains high, led by the company’s robust portfolio of collection brands, including Autograph Collection Hotels, The Luxury Collection, and in particular the Tribute Portfolio, which has grown its footprint of open and pipeline hotels by nearly four times in the past five years. In addition, Delta Hotels by Marriott, the company’s flexible full-service conversion brand represented 9 percent of signed conversion deals in 2021. Notable expected conversion additions in 2022 include the JW Marriott Hotel São Paulo in Brazil, The Brix, Autograph Collection in Trinidad and Tobago, The Serangoon House, Singapore, A Tribute Portfolio Hotel and a Delta Hotels by Marriott City Center Doha in Qatar.

Strong International Growth Poised to Continue

Growth in Valuable International Markets

In 2021, the company signed 256 agreements representing nearly 51,000 rooms in international locations outside the U.S. and Canada. With the company rapidly growing its international footprint, Marriott continues to enter new markets, offering travelers more exciting destinations. In 2021, the company expanded into Antigua and Barbuda, Belize, Bermuda, Grenada, St. Lucia and Turks & Caicos. In 2022, the company expects to plant its flag in Albania and Honduras.

Select Service Shines Around the World

Development activity for well-established brands within the select service space remains another key driver of growth, especially internationally. Comprised of brands including Courtyard by Marriott, Fairfield by Marriott, Four Points by Sheraton, Aloft Hotels and Moxy Hotels, Marriott International’s select brands are increasingly resonating internationally. In 2021, the company opened 107 select service hotels representing nearly 19,000 rooms in 29 countries across its international regions. In China, select brands further expand consumer travel experiences and choices, bringing guests diversified experiences in emerging Chinese destinations. Notable expected openings in 2022 include Element Yangjiang Hailing Island and Moxy Suzhou City Center. In 2021, Fairfield by Marriott continued to make its mark in Japan with the “Michi-no-eki” project, bringing six more hotels to key locations across four prefectures in Japan. The company also launched its new Fairfield prototype in Europe and the Middle East.

Branded Residential Soars

Marriott’s branded residential business soared in 2021 as evolving lifestyle changes have sparked growing interest in on-demand amenities and services from brands people admire and trust. Marriott continues to lead the branded residential segment with nearly 190 projects open or in development worldwide across 14 of the company’s brands. Marriott’s branded residential offerings include a standalone residence model with similar elevated services offered at the company’s hotel properties, but without a co-located hotel, which speaks to the power of Marriott’s brands to attract residential buyers in markets around the globe. In 2021, Marriott signed its first standalone residences for the EDITION brand in Miami and for the Autograph Collection Hotels brand in London. The company currently operates 14 standalone residences with 16 in the pipeline. Overall, the branded residential sector continues to grow rapidly internationally, with nearly 80 percent of Marriott’s upcoming projects located outside of the U.S. and Canada. The company expects to debut 14 residential projects in 2022 in destinations from New York City (The Ritz-Carlton Residences, New York, NoMad) and Algarve (W Residences Algarve) to Belgrade (The Residences at The St. Regis Belgrade).

Marriott Guests Can Now Seamlessly Purchase Travel Insurance When They Book Directly with Marriott

Today, Marriott announced guests residing in the U.S. can seamlessly insure their domestic and international travels with Allianz Partners when booking their hotel stay on Marriott.com and the iOS version of the Marriott Bonvoy mobile app. Unlike typical travel insurance for individuals, Allianz Global Assistance plans developed for Marriott can cover everyone staying in the room(s) including friends or family and may provide reimbursement for pre-paid, non-refundable expenses like airfare, expenses incurred during covered travel delays and medical emergencies, and more – providing benefits for much more than just the cost of hotel stays.

Plans available to Marriott guests may include protection for eligible trip cancellation costs due to a covered illness, injury, and more, up to a maximum amount. They may also include benefits for unexpected expenses caused by covered travel delays and trip interruptions such as the cost of rebooking flights, booking an airport hotel room for the night, or paying for a taxi. Depending on the plan purchased, costs for covered emergency medical care during a trip and delayed or lost baggage or personal belongings may also be covered. In addition, the plans can cover other pre-paid, non-refundable trip expenses, such as tours, activities and entertainment and sports tickets.

“Taking care of our guests while they explore the world, has always been a core principle for our company and today’s less predictable travel environment, resulting from the pandemic, has made the need to protect travel decisions more urgent.” said Peggy Roe, Global Officer, Customer Experience, Loyalty and New Ventures, Marriott International. “Together with Allianz Partners, we are designing new and innovative ways to provide guests with confidence and peace of mind when they travel. Our industry leading product provides protection for multiple travelers in the party and protects trip purchases beyond the hotel stay. Our new travel insurance product is another example of how we are transforming to provide more thoughtful benefits and value to travelers across their entire trip.”

“We’re delighted to offer Marriott’s valued guests the opportunity to conveniently purchase our award-winning travel insurance and assistance while booking their next stay on Marriott.com,” said Elena Edwards, CEO of Allianz Partners USA. “We’ve created new products just for Marriott customers, and we hope these products will provide travelers with the confidence they need to book their next memorable stay,” added Ricky Horwitz, Chief Sales Officer, Global Travel at Allianz Partners Group.

Other plan benefits include a 24/7 team of multilingual, trained experts to help guests with medical and other travel-related emergencies. Services can include providing destination information, arranging roadside assistance, and making transportation arrangements. Policyholders can also enjoy the benefit of concierge services and take advantage of personal assistance from a team of experts to help get the most out of their travels, like securing tickets to shows, making restaurant reservations and booking spa treatments or a round of golf.

With the launch of this collaboration with Allianz Partners, Marriott guests don’t have to spend valuable time researching and selecting travel insurance. Guests will be given the opportunity to purchase insurance for their trip when they select their preferred hotel on Marriott.com. To provide as much flexibility as possible, there are a range of Allianz Global Assistance policies that vary in price, coverage, and benefits.

Renaissance Hotels Unveils Its Latest Resort in the Island of the Gods

Renaissance Hotels Unveils Its Latest Resort in the Island of the Gods - TRAVELINDEX

Renaissance Hotels, part of Marriott Bonvoy’s portfolio of 30 extraordinary hotel brands, unveils its second property in Island of the Gods with the opening of Renaissance Bali Nusa Dua Resort. Perched on the hills above Nusa Dua and overlooking sprawling views of the lush green canopy and Indian Ocean, the new resort features 310 stylish guest rooms and four thematic pools, destined to welcome travelers to discover unexpected gems in the tropical destination.

“Nusa Dua has long been a spirited and sought-after enclave in Bali, surrounded by natural beauty, culture, and history,” said Catherine Flint, Director, Global Brand Management, Renaissance Hotels. “We are thrilled to grow our portfolio in the island, bringing our signature spin on the hotel experience to deliver an unexpected adventure through a local frame of mind.”

Drawing inspiration from the grand theatrics of traditional Balinese dances, especially the Barong Dance, the design of the Renaissance Bali Nusa Dua Resort pays homage to one of the oldest forms of performing arts of the island. The newly opened resort is an ode to the richness of Balinese culture, brought to life by the meticulous design work of P49 Deesign. Created as sacred rituals and for entertainment, traditional Balinese dance routines are heavily influenced by nature and guests can discover these highlights in the ‘Good versus Evil’ murals and prints at R Bar, the vibrant industrial-style design at the Backstage, as well as the charming dance performance patterns adorning the backdrop of the ballroom.

The 310 guest rooms and suites are thoughtfully-designed as a tribute to the island’s heritage – with a Balinese mask pattern on the ceiling, a modern invention of ‘Balinese dancer’s head’ gobo light, and turquoise-accented walls for a sense of calm. Featuring breathtaking views of the island, the stylish rooms are seamlessly designed, with spacious bathrooms. A homage to the natural elements of the island, decorative wall ceramics adorn the walls to enhance the look of the space, with a freestanding ivory bathtub as its centerpiece.

Anchoring the six tempting food & beverage experiences at the resort is Backstage, an all-day dining restaurant offering wide selections of local and international favorites at its buffet and live stations. Lion X is a contemporary Chinese restaurant with innovative offerings such as Dim Sum as well as Cantonese and Sichuan cuisine with modern twist. The authentic Indonesian restaurant, Nusantara by Locavore, spotlights the country’s culinary heritage with a fresh look at its regional cuisines. A pottery atelier and cooking lab by day, Tanah Liat transforms by evening into an arts-and-crafts inspired restaurant featuring locally sourced fresh seasonal seafood and plant-based cuisines. Atomic 17 is the resort’s resident pool bar which serves fresh juices and smoothies as well as purist cocktail as the day progresses. Integrating the lobby and lounge, R Bar is where guests can relax and unwind over crafted cocktails, cold-brew coffee, and more by an expert mixologist and barista. As part of the signature Evenings at Renaissance programming – a ritual that ushers the transition of daytime to nightfall – R Bar transforms into an elevated venue where guests and locals can mix and mingle over a full cocktail program and live music every evening.

Guests can relax at The Spa wellness center with treatments inspired by the art of the Balinese healing method or keep up with their fitness regime at the 24-hour gym. Featuring four thematic pools, the main pool is located across the lobby whereas the jungle pool mimics the natural beauty that the island is renowned for – crowned in lush greenery and along a man-made waterfall. The lagoon-like jungle pool is also where The Cove is located, a stunning wedding venue with an aisle stretching right to the heart of the pool.

The resort offers 12,055 square feet of flexible function space to host events for any special occasion. Fully equipped with advanced audiovisual capabilities, the Grand Ballroom can accommodate up to 1,100 persons. Perfect for business meetings, the resort has five event rooms and a maximum of seven breakout rooms. Renaissance Hotels’ R.E.N. Meeting program features a dedicated event team committed to deliver seamless event experiences.

The Renaissance Navigator, the brand’s on-property neighborhood expert, is always on hand to help guests uncover the best local discoveries and the hidden gems that can only be experienced in that destination. For art aficionados, Museum Pasifika showcases artworks about Bali, painted by different artists from all over the world. For the adventurous, Bali Paragliding is a great way to enjoy Nusa Dua with a bird’s eye view. Guests can discover the best that Bali has to offer at At The Corner, where they can find unique selections of local accessories and women’s products as well as Jenggala, a store selling ceramics made by local artists.

The resort also showcases the spirit of the neighborhood through its unexpected design and local collaborations. At the resort, all Front office associates, navigator, and Rbar ambassadors are donned with outfits designed by acclaimed designer Paul Ropp, the iconic Bali-based fashion house, featuring bold and vibrant colors that match with the resort’s design and reflect the Balinese culture.

“We look forward to welcoming business and leisure travelers to discover the unexpected experiences in one of the most inspiring neighborhoods in Bali, as well as curating a relaxing and comfortable stay for them through our design-led spaces and excellent food & beverage experiences,” said Jeffrey Tyler, General Manager.

Situated on the southern part of Bali, Renaissance Bali Nusa Dua Resort is a short 15-minute drive away from the Ngurah Rai International Airport, providing easy access for international and domestic travelers. The resort is also within close proximity to the renowned Nusa Dua Beach for those to enjoy the sun and beach.

The Luxury Collection Debuts in Australia with the Opening of the Tasman, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Hobart

The Tasman, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Hobart

The Luxury Collection Hotels & Resorts, part of Marriott Bonvoy’s portfolio of 30 extraordinary hotel brands, today announced the opening of The Tasman, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Hobart, marking the debut of The Luxury Collection brand in Australia. The Tasman showcases Hobart, a destination steeped in rich history and Australia’s second oldest city. Located on the island state of Tasmania, Hobart is renowned for its epicurean culture, vibrant art scene, and breathtaking natural surroundings.

Centrally located within the restored heritage area of Parliament Square overlooking Hobart’s historic waterfront, The Tasman is just steps away from the city’s famous Salamanca Markets, the charming St. David’s Park, as well as the historic Sullivan’s Cove. Guests will be invited to immerse themselves under the guidance of Tasmania’s only Clefs d’Or concierge to discover the work of local artisans and unearth the stories behind the island’s celebrated produce with exclusive purveyor visits and epicurean moments within the hotel.

“Hobart is a truly captivating and dynamic city, allowing a seamless fit for The Luxury Collection, known for creating experiences for global explorers in some of the world’s most enchanting destinations,” said Philipp Weghmann, Vice President and Global Brand Leader of The Luxury Collection. “The Tasman will offer our guests a transformative journey, drawing on the incredible history, evocative contemporary culture, and awe-inspiring natural wonders of one of the most intriguing and farthest corners of the globe.”

The Tasman is an elegant heritage reconstruction of former state government offices that brings together three eras of design: Georgian, Art Deco, and Contemporary. The one-of-a-kind design direction of The Tasman was realized by award-winning Australian architects Francis-Jones Morehen Thorp and acclaimed Australian interior design firm Joseph Pang Design Consultants. The hotel marries contemporary design with the historical legacy of the site, which contains buildings spanning 180 years.

The Tasman offers 152 guest rooms and suites carefully conceived to showcase the captivating architectural narrative of the property. The Heritage Building offers rooms that blend history with modern craftsmanship and design, featuring convict-hewn sandstone details, restored gas fireplaces and marble bathrooms. The St. David’s Park Suite, overlooking the park, is the jewel of the Georgian era building with its restored original fireplace and handcrafted Tasmanian blackwood timber bath. The hotel’s Art Deco rooms date back to 1937 and showcase a modern, pared-back interpretation of this iconic style expressed through thoughtful design details, including Tasmanian native sassafras timber-inlaid ceilings. The striking Pavilion Building overlooks Sullivan’s Cove and the ocean beyond, and it houses the hotel’s contemporary-designer rooms. On the rooftop, The Aurora Suite boasts panoramic views of Hobart’s waterfront and city skyline. The 108 square-meter suite features an island bath as well as an expansive entertainment terrace, perfect for hosting private events.

The Tasman features three distinct epicurean experiences highlighting and celebrating the best of Tasmanian produce and cuisine. At Peppina, the hotel’s signature restaurant, renowned Tasmanian native Chef Massimo Mele combines his passion for championing local producers and quality ingredients with the generosity and warmth of Italian hospitality. Mary Mary is an intimate craft cocktail bar and spirit library with a modernist yet authentic approach, dedicated to the discovery of exceptional local ingredients for pairing with Tasmania’s finest spirits and liquors. The Deco Lounge offers a refined space to enjoy afternoon tea or a light lunch in a residential setting that spills out onto a terrace overlooking Parliament Square.

The Tasman’s historic location and unique character makes it an exceptional venue for meetings and events. The hotel offers 769 square meters of meeting space spread over seven customizable rooms. The Cumulo Room features impressive floor-to-ceiling windows framing an outdoor terrace that overlooks the beautiful St. David’s Park. Parco is an underground warehouse-style events space that is perfect for cocktail parties or trade events for up to 400 people. The hotel also offers complimentary access for all guests to a 24/7 Fitness Center with cardio equipment and free weights.

“We are thrilled to unveil the first The Luxury Collection hotel in Australia with the opening of The Tasman, a hotel that will redefine the destination of Tasmania,” said Rajeev Menon, President, Asia Pacific (excluding Greater China), Marriott International. “This marks a new milestone in the growth of The Luxury Collection and further diversifies our growing collection of hotels in the world’s most desirable locations. We look forward to welcoming guests to experience this wonderful city.”

Caroline de Maigret

The Luxury Collection, part of Marriott Bonvoy’s portfolio of 30 extraordinary hotel brands, announces Caroline de Maigret as the brand’s newest Global Explorer. In her role as a brand ambassador, de Maigret has collaborated with The Luxury Collection to produce A Night in Seville and the Morning After — a guide to her favorite places to stay, dine and discover published by Assouline. The book will also be accompanied by a digital series of city guides spotlighting Paris, Venice and Athens – all curated with favorite discoveries from de Maigret’s travels. A Night in Seville and the Morning After and the city guide series will launch this December in celebration of the opening of Hotel Santo Mauro, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Madrid – the portfolio’s just-opened property in the heart of the city’s exclusive Chamberí area in December 2021.

The Luxury Collection’s Global Explorer program celebrates the vibrancy of the world’s most enchanting destinations through the eyes of leading cultural voices. Representing a broad selection of creative endeavors, these personalities are united by a deep understanding of world cultures, while identifying travel experiences in their own personal way. Born in France, Caroline de Maigret has traveled the globe gracing the world’s stage from Milan to London to New York as a model, producer and fashion icon.

“Travel for me goes hand in hand with exploration and discovery. When on the road, meeting new people, finding a cool bar on the corner, a small exhibition with local treasures or the perfect hotel makes me feel so happy and alive,” said Caroline de Maigret. “I am thrilled to be able to collaborate with The Luxury Collection – a brand that I look to as a home away from home always in harmony with its setting – to share some of my favorite places in Seville and around the world.”

A Night in Seville and the Morning After is the ultimate guide to the perfect day in Seville as told by Caroline de Maigret. Published by Assouline and featuring 65 pages of beautiful photography and playful illustrations, de Maigret takes you from checking in at Hotel Alfonso XIII, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Seville to sightseeing at Catedral de Sevilla, lunch at El Pintón, hat shopping at Maquedano into a night on the town starting at Alameda de Hércules. Featuring four sections, the book is divided between de Maigret’s favorite restaurants, drinks, shopping and sights. As an added layer to the collaboration, de Maigret has also created a series of digital guides – Paris, Venice, Athens – that will launch with the pocket-sized book this December.

“We are delighted to welcome Caroline de Maigret as our latest Global Explorer. Her passionate curiosity and zest for discovery perfectly captures the spirit of The Luxury Collection brand as we all look to engage our passions and embark on a quest for fulfillment through travel,” said Philipp Weghmann, Vice President & Global Brand Leader, The Luxury Collection. “We are excited to collaborate with her on a beautiful book and digital series to celebrate our captivating portfolio in some of Europe’s most compelling destinations.”

Celebrating the latest addition to the brand’s portfolio in Europe, the guide and digital series will debut around the opening of Hotel Santo Mauro, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Madrid. Located in the exclusive Chamberí neighborhood, the 49-room boutique property is made up of three buildings inspired by Parisian palaces of the 19th century and a magnificent garden, all which served as the former residence of the Duke of Santo Mauro.

Caroline de Maigret will join the celebrated group of Luxury Collection Global Ambassadors who bring the portfolio to life for international travelers. The brand recently debuted the launch of its third collaboration with Global Explorer Margherita Maccapani Missoni – a limited-edition scarf inspired by her travels with The Luxury Collection in India—and a homeware line from Mercedes Salazar inspired by a visit to North Island, a Luxury Collection Resort, Seychelles. The Luxury Collection is dedicated to helping travelers from all over the world to embark on extraordinary journeys and one-of-a-kind experiences.
