London, United Kingdom / TRAVELINDEX / Group travel booking innovator Joyned has been awarded the Best Technology Product award at the Travolution Awards 2023, having been recognised for its significant impact within the travel market.
Held in central London, the awards ceremony was attended by over 400 guests, hosted by Editor-in-Chief of Travolution, Kate Harden-England, and radio and television presenter, Alice Levine – complete with a three-course meal and lively entertainment from drummer group Box9 Drumline.
Joyned’s social revenue platform enables groups of friends and family (F&F) travellers to discuss and make purchases directly on a travel site from a secure, private, online space. The cross-website, live experience that Joyned provides enables travel sites to own their customers’ natural social engagements directly on-site, typically increasing travel sites’ conversion rates by four times their baseline and also increasing average order value by 25%.
Speaking about Joyned’s solution, the judges of the Travolution Awards 2023 said: “It was focused on solving a pain point of the industry, and had a solid value proposition.” The judges went further, stating that Joyned’s social booking technology “was entrepreneurial, with solid growth and showed that [Joyned] really understands consumer needs and that it addressed a problem.”
Commenting on Joyned’s recent win, CEO Jonathan Abraham said: “We’re delighted to have won the Best Technology Product title and we couldn’t have done it without our brilliant team. Joyned has experienced exceptionally strong growth over the past 12 months and this is absolutely due to our innovative SaaS social booking solution. Joyned enables friends and family travellers looking to book a holiday to do so more socially than ever. The online travel agencies we work with, including Amadeus, OYO Rooms, RIU Hotels and Despegar, have commended Joyned’s innovation and we are the only SaaS solution to offer an off-the shelf collaborative booking solution.”
